The initial phone conversation is essential in allowing me to understand the medical issues you are confronting. I can then provide an honest assessment if traveling to Guadalajara is an option for your situation. I will then suggest which specialist would be appropriate as well as approximate costs.
Scheduling your trip
Before you travel to Guadalajara, I will schedule all necessary appointments with physicians, surgery dates and pre-op exams, if applicable.
During your visit to Guadalajara
I have extensive experience in connecting patients to the best medical professional in the field needed. My services also include recommending accommodations, including recovery houses and I can help assist with transportation as well. I always accompany my clients to all appointments and/or exams as well as for check in and check out of the hospital for procedures or surgeries.

About Me
I arrived in Guadalajara from San Diego in September 2009 with a plan to stay for 6 months. I never left!
I had vacationed in Mexico many times and had formally studied Spanish for 3 years prior to landing here. Many people ask me, “but what made you move permanently?” The truth is, every time I visited, I was never ready to leave. The friendly culture, wonderful food and great weather made me fall in love with Mexico.
Once settled, I decided to complete my TEFL certification, in order to Teach English as a Foreign Language classes. After 10 months of teaching, I was approached via a colleague by a surgeon, whose clinic was looking for a native English speaker to work with their patients from the U.S. and Canada.
I now have over 12 years working as a medical concierge, assisting people who are looking to come to Guadalajara for medical care. I have worked with patients who have needed the services of specialists in many areas, including but not limited to plastic surgery, orthopedic procedures, neurosurgery, dentistry and dermatology.
The education and experience of the doctors I work with are stellar and the majority also did internships in the U.S. They are all board certified and the hospital they work in, which is classified as 5 stars, is associated with the Mayo Clinic. Your safety is the #1 priority here and you are a person, not just a number.
Another question that I commonly get is about safety. I am a single, blonde female who has lived alone in Guadalajara for 15 years. I have never felt unsafe here. And today, I am just part of the neighborhood. People even ask me for advice and directions sometimes! I also love to travel and see other parts of this large, beautiful, diverse country.
